Virtual ONE YOGA - how to be ready

To join a class you will need to register and pay for the class before entering the virtual room. If you have already purchased a pass, you only need to register for the class. Registration is due a minimum of two hours before class start time to have time for logistics and for us to send to you the online link for the class. Once registered, you will receive the link to enter our virtual classroom.

Before You Join Your First Virtual Class

Please allow some extra time to get set up at the beginning, especially the first time that you join. Read through and implement carefully for a great experience. For the best experience, you’ll want to join us from a device with a video camera and microphone. This way, I can both see and hear you.

To protect your privacy our live stream classes will not be recorded. I will be using Zoom to live stream the classes, and it works on PC’s, Mac, laptops, iPads, and smartphones.

Step One:
Before your first virtual class, go to www.zoom.us/download and download either the Zoom client for Meetings (for computers) or the Zoom Mobile App (for phones). Please use the same email address that you gave me when you registered for Healthy Aging-ONE Yoga

Step Two:
You can join a test meeting by going to  http://zoom.us/test to join a test meeting, then follow the instructions to test your video or audio.

Step Three:
Since this is our beta phase for offering online Healthy Aging-ONE Yoga, you may purchase a single class, but preference is for a 4 or 7 class package. Click on this link to make your purchase. https://www.drerskine.com/yoga.html (in production)

Step Four: On that page, click on desired class to register for your class. Registration is due a minimum of 2 hours before class start time to have time for logistics and to send you the link for the online class. You will receive the email invitation to join the zoom meeting containing the link and password to join upon successful registration.

Step Five:
Go to zoom via the link to join the Zoom Classroom. Plan to join 10 minutes before class start time to get settled and say hello.

Step Six:
Get settled on your yoga mat and be ready to begin our virtual yoga class together! Optional props:- A folded blanket; a steady chair; yoga blocks (2); consider utilizing pillows and or a yoga bolster; and a 10 ft. yoga strap.
