Testimonials

"Dr.Erskine has been treating myself and family for approximately 25 years. When he was in general practice he helped us through all of our medical needs including broken bones.

I am so grateful that he has transitioned to Osteopathy and Homeopathy as his specialty as this has played a huge part in our health and well being. I have been treated by him for injuries to my back, leg, foot, hip, wrist and neck. He has also corrected my shoulder problems. He has treated both of my grandsons as infants. Both had cranial issues from the birthing process. He continues to work with the 10 year old with physical and emotional issues. I do not want to think of what it would be like to do without his amazing skills and knowledge."

"Since you may not have the time to read this all the way through, then I want to state the most important fact first, namely, that if you only remember one sentiment from my testimonial that appears here, I hope it is this: I have found Dr.Erskine to be a gifted physician, and a true healing force, and based on my personal experience, I recommend him highly.

In my recent experiences as Dr. Erskine's patient in both his osteopathic and homeopathic practices, I have found him to have not just some bua all of the professional attributes necessary for me to fully entrust myself into the hands of any medical practitioner.

Dr. Erskine is compassionate - he starts off wanting to help people; intelligent - he is clear, incisive, and fast on the uptake; educated - he has learned the basic and advanced knowledge of the human body very well; trained - hands-on internship and residency times spent to great effect are evident; experienced - he has had a broad exposure in his own practice over a considerable time period to many, many presenting issues; deeply empathic - I just knew that he knew what it was like to be me when I was first examined by him; successful - a word-of-mouth track record that was glowing turned out to be true for me as well; openhearted - very, very present and human in his personal approach to me from our first encounter; and humble - ongoing research and consultation are part of his practice, relieving him from having to "know it all," much to the benefit of his patients.

If the details of the presenting problem, the treatment and the outcome are of interest to you, then here they follow. I had one deviated septum from birth, that was a life-long health challenge and complicating factor in so many ways; nothing "serious," yet always there, causing low-level troubles. My decades-long quest for unfettered inhalation had much sinusitis sent me back on the search again just a few years ago. Eventually, I appeared in Dr. Erskine's offices. After a lengthy and detailed intake process, he seemed unfazed by my challenge, and just weeks later, after several mostly very gentle hands-on sessions, I began breathing better and more evenly than at any other time in my life, and I am of Medicare age.

Eventually, we switched consultation rooms in his offices and what had been for me stunning osteopathic relief was then succeeded by receiving homeopathic remedies that soon also relieved myh system of many breathing-related burdens. I am now less fearful of Sonoma County wineries, the allergens of spring and the pollen counts of summer than at any time past."

"After 30 years of working in office environments doing repetitive motion tasks, i.e., keypunch operator data entry, word processor, typist, etc. I had acquired bi-lateral arthritis in both my thumbs.

It was so bad, I couldn't pick up my tooth brush off th bathroom counter top or even zip up my pants because my thumbs would kink up and it was very, very painful. This was after being in denial of any problem for about 2 years.

Four doctors in the Sonoma County area all came to the same conclusion - surgery. This would have menat each hand being in a case for 3 months, course at separate times. They also said I would have the grip of a 20 year old, but after 11 years I would have to go back in for a tune-up surgery again. This was too daunting to even think about for me. Finally I found Dr. Erskine, AKA, "The Miracle Worker!!" He told me he wasn't sure if he could cure me but he would treat me. He took me off my pain pills, told me what exercise (which was very simple) to do and what vitamins to take. When I was seeing him that first day, he had me laying down on a bed/table and began touching my neck, shoulders and arms where the pain was. To me if felt like he had become so small, and was inside my body massaging my bones. It was what it felt like to me.

Every time I went for a visit to see him as I was about to lay down, he would touch me on my shoulderor neck and touch and ask me if it hurt on the particular spot. I couldn't believe it! I think he is very intuitive because I didn't even have to tell him where the pain was. He just knew it.

To make a long story longer, I jsut want to say I am living proof that this doctor knows what he's doing. Some of the symptooms I had were pain when waving hello to someone or turning my windshield wipers on in the car, lifting a pot to cook in, lifting a tooth brush!! Not being able to button or zip anything! It was a nightmare! And I was only 48 yrs.old. And lastly, here's another testimonial - I was at a garage sale and the lady who sold me a sandwich board for adertising for my business complained to me few weeks later, she came to where I was working and left me a note with the $10 I had paid her for the sanwich board and in it she wrote " I think you forgot this. Thank you so much for telling me about Dr.Erskine!! He is a miracle worker!

How nice was that!?! Believe me I know how frightening it can be when faced with a situation like this. I cried oceans of tears and prayer for wisdom, courage and another way to heal without surgery - it was the scariest time I had ever experience. My hands have healed and it took very little time for him to heal me. I tell everyone about him whenever someone has an issue like mine, as I am so deeply grateful to have had the fortune to have him in my life. He's amazing, gentle, kind, intuitive, - He's a miracle worker!! Thank you is not nearly enough to say, but I'll say it again "Thank you so much Dr.Erskine!"
